Finally!

Today I am finally in Quartzsite, AZ!  I actually got here yesterday just before dark, and just parked my motorhome in a spot near friends and relaxed a bit and went to bed early.  I felt tired after driving all across country to get here.

I stopped in Yuma yesterday to visit a few friends and to get a haircut.  It was nice to visit them, and I stocked up on groceries, and then headed to Quartzsite just barely in time to get here before dark.  When I arrived, I waved at my friends who are here, and parked and we talked for a while, and then I walked over to another friend's RV and greeted them .  By this time, I was very tired and tried to watch TV for a while.  But I couldn't relax and my legs were hurting so I went to bed.  I was just drifting off to sleep when Hera woke me with a gentle ROO.  I got up and took the dogs outside for pee and poo, but Power peed Hera did not, so back inside we went.  This was repeated several more times before Hera finally peed..  Then we slept through the night till about 4:30 am..I was slept out!  So were the dogs!

Today I getting my campsite set up and relaxing.

  1. I love your RV. Can't believe you drive something so big, I don't think I would ever be able to handle a vehicle that large. Glad you are all settled, it looks very nice with your awning set up.

    1. Lynne, as RVs go, mine is only medium sized, not large at all! Thanks for your compliments!

  2. Glad you got to visit with your friends.

Now is the name of the place because they have found Quartz there?

You take care. Hugs Sue & Polly

  4. We've been told that you are not really RVers until you stay at Quartzsite, AZ. Are you an Escapees member? Will you be at the Escapade this year? It is in Tuscon. We will!

    1. I move as often as 14 days but as seldom as 5 months, depending on my volunteering at parks! I move to a mace that interests me, maybe different each time!
