Sunday, I drove to Imperial wildlife refuge in southwestern Arizona to visit with Judith Bell of "Travels with Emma". She leads an 8 am tour every Sunday so I had to leave Quartzsite at 6AM to get there!

She wasn't expecting any other tourists, but two more showed up just before we left. They wintered nearby. Our first stop was at Judy's RV where she had her scope set up for us to look at waterfowl on "her" pond.

After that we drove through the pond areas and enjoyed lots of different birds, and other wildlife.

I had not seen raccoons "waddle"before. |
