I got to meet veterans today while working. They were veterans of World War II. They were beginning to show their ages, but held themselves as errect as was possible for each of them.
Memorial Day is a holiday of happiness and sadness. Happy we are free and have a long holiday weekend, but sad that so many gave their lives so that we can be free and have holidays. May our fallen heroes rest in peach, and know that they all have our thanks.
People just take for granted the way of life we have today. how different it would have been if it wasn't for those that fought for it.
