More Cactus blooms!

This cactus is about 2 inches tall and 2 inches diameter, and rides on my dash in the motorhome.  A series of buds are developing and one opened today.

This tiny blossom has so much detail!  Nature is wonderful, isn't it?  Looking for and enjoying any example of beauty keeps me from getting too upset when faced with the stressful and bad parts of life.

  1. Absolutely beautiful. I enjoy seeing your cactus blooms. You are right...I think about the lessons flowers teach us often.

    1. I am often amazed at what will grow and thrive planted in a small box, riding on my motorhome dash!

  2. Yes, just like us, each flower is different but perfect in it's own way. And beautiful. Very few things in nature aren't beautiful. Even though sometimes it doesn't seem like it, I think the good outweighs the bad every time. You just have to look around and notice.

Your cactus flower is beautiful - it must be really tiny. :)

  4. Cactus are amazing aren't they! I have a zygocactus here that is about 30 years old and has lived in 4 homes with me. It seems to thrive on neglect, lol.
