The name Houndstooth is very pleasing to my brain. Therefore, I happened upon a shift that was made of houndstooth fabric, and I could not pass it by. So now I can wear a shift with houndstooth pattern and think of Houndstooth, the author!
If you notice, Power is lying on the sofa sleeping, and the houndstooth fabric looks really good on his black and white fur colors...so, I found a one yard piece of upholstery houndstooth patterned fabric, and before cold weather I will have it made into a coat for Power!
So, thank you Houndstooth for inspiration!

That's great how one greyhound blog can inspire another in unforeseen ways. And yes, it does look good Power. Maybe he would like a coat made of that pattern? :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome! I wanted a clever name that went with Greyhounds but wasn't overly cute, and I've always loved that pattern. Flattery actually has a houndstooth collar and it looks fabulous on her!
