  1. With temps like that, I'd be hitting the road!

    1. I'll be leaving as soon as Fleur's feet heal

  2. When it's that cold, I like to snuggle with the pups under the covers. They're like little furnaces.

    1. I'm amazed that anyone has the courage to let the giant hounds in their bed, but the other night when Fleur felt so bad I was sorely tempted! But the dog hair in the sheets...I don't know, and I'm afraid they would really crowd me and Chica.

    2. You are right to be afraid of the do hair on the sheets, and the crowding out. It will happen. That's why we have a two-bed setup. Our kitty used to sleep on top of the wife, where he knew he was safe.

  3. Goodness--seems time to migrate south! Thanks for commenting on my blog photos and sharing the fond memories for the upper gulf coast. I think it is pretty special this time of year--and not 19 degrees!

    1. Are you having the zillions of mosquitoes that I always saw there?

  4. Barbie comes on my bed when it's cold.... she stays off when she's not cold.

    1. I think that Barbie sounds perfect, that she doesn't insist on being in your bed unless it's cold!

  5. I am really thankful to have Bunny curl up to me at night! Especially when it's that brisk outside. I hope you're moving to warmer climes soon!

    1. We will be out of here in about a week unless Fleur's feet go south! I'm amazed that your dogs are welcome in the bed, but it sure makes for interesting reading!

  6. We're in celsius temperatures and I can't remember what 19 degrees F is, but I'm thinking it's well below freezing? Yep, I'm with Judith!

  7. PS it's good to see Fleur looking better. She's had a bit of a hard time the past month or so!

    1. Fleur is feeling good except her feet are sore, and when Power is dancing in circles, he sometimes steps on those sore feet and then she can't walk for a few minutes until the pain subsides!

  8. Hope you all warm up soon. A perfect excuse to cuddle up together.

  9. Where are you going next, somewhere hot?
Wish we could move where it is warm for the Winter, it gets so cold here.
    Chica has the right idea.

    1. When I leave here, I am going to Southern New Mexico. I have some medical appointments, and then over to Arizona for the rest of the winter!

  11. Sadly that temp looks too familiar. But Fleur certainly looks lovely and cozy!

    1. I've been making some jammies for the dogs so they will be warm, and used flannel, because one of the custom dog clothing websites says that flannel is not so likely to have dog hair stick to it. Have you decided what fabric works best?
