This lovely Pyrruloxia was coming to my bird seed yesterday.
He/she had a wonderful voice to listen to!
Below is a house vince which was liking the bird seed also.
I was outside for hours and the birds did their thing while I was sawing, painting, hammering, screwing on the projects!
Looks a bit like a female Cardinal. Lovely bird.

DeleteHad to look that one up...also known as a desert cardinal! No wonder Sue & I both thought of cardinals. Also went to www.allaboutbirds.org It's a great site where you can not only look up birds, but listen to calls too.
