I just hate it. The cars fly through the park here and it makes me so mad. We have many deer with baby fawns and I fear for them. Too bad about the little owl he sure was a cutie. I am catching up or trying to reading blogs. Wow being gone for so long it is hard to do.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09143950983476086003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921775815158893571.post-4340026899249688152013-07-26T19:47:43.745-07:002013-07-26T19:47:43.745-07:00I agree with you. I'm surprised the owl was in such good shape, except for the eyes. Poor thing. We had an owl here a few winters ago that started roosting under our house awnings and I tried for several days to identify it, but I was never sure.houndstoothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159272473651561647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921775815158893571.post-56666154362135101172013-07-25T17:39:50.857-07:002013-07-25T17:39:50.857-07:00Oh the poor baby. I always pull over and move turtles off the road and put them in the direction they are going to avoid them getting hit. I wish more people would drive slower and avoid hitting animals. My brother set a broken wing on a small screech owl when he was small and called him Meatball. He released him when he could fly again. Brought that memory back to me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09143950983476086003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921775815158893571.post-40834934098217110252013-07-25T11:19:31.619-07:002013-07-25T11:19:31.619-07:00Such a shame.
