I often see teams of dogs working sheep, it's awesome, great team work between farmer and his dogs. And I used to spin my own wool and knit it up. I've kept my favourite spinning wheel and hope to have time to do it again some day.Greyhounds CAN Sithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03178195107110286989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8921775815158893571.post-40499347221557888822013-08-24T14:05:07.258-07:002013-08-24T14:05:07.258-07:00I grew up on a farm with sheep, and we had Border ...I grew up on a farm with sheep, and we had Border Collies to herd them, but it's a lot of work to train them. Ours were never particularly great at it, but they were fun to have along as company when I had to go out and count them for my dad and drive them up to the barn. We used to go and watch the Border Collie trials where they do competitive herding and it's a lot of fun to see! We sold sheep at the market every year, but I've never eaten mutton. At least, not that I'm aware of! houndstoothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159272473651561647noreply@blogger.com
